Don't:

1. Don't claim you've solved all of AGI (unless you really have, and chances are you haven't)

2. Name things after yourself

3. Use vague generalizations or speak in 'sound bites'

4. Use scientific terminology in unscientific ways

5. Suggest that your work must be correct because of divine inspiration

Do:

1. Be honest about limitations

2. Listen to comments and suggestions

3. Be polite

4. Review and understand the field before claiming you've done something original

5. Give credit where credit is due
