The creation of machine learning algorithms has been a very active part of AI over the last few decades.
Most of this work has been focused on Narrow AI, yet in some AGI approaches, some of these machine learning algorithms may still be useful for various purposes, especially when integrated with each other or with other sorts of algorithms.
