The raw feeling of existence!

We all have it. Or, if you listen to Daniel Dennett (author of Consciousness Explained, which denies the existence of subjective consciousness), none of us have it, but some of us are deluded into feeling like we do.

In Peircean philosophy, subjective consciousness is First.

Francisco Varela and other serious scientists have conducted systematic inquiries into the nature of subjective consciousness and its variation among individuals. The notion of States of Consciousness is important here.

When an AGI one day tells Dennett it feels subjective consciousness, it will be amusing to hear his response.
