Symbolically Interactive System

An Adaptive Control System that, as it interacts with and adapts to its environment, constructs Symbolic models of aspects of itself, its environment and the interaction therebetween, utilizing this model in its Actions and adaptations.
A species, evolving over time, may be considered as a symbolically interactive system, where the symbol system is related to the DNA and the rest of the genome.
Symbolic Interactionism is a relevant branch of sociology.

In the theory of Developmental Stages of Uncertain Logic Based AI Systems, it is hypothesized that in the Formal Stage, Inference Control becomes a Symbolically Interactive System.
